Crimson Sunset

A hot and humid evening, the sun hovering just over the horizon line, on the side of the highway somewhere in Saskatchewan. Pick a wild flower and put in your hair. Stretch your legs and catch a lady bug on the breeze. And then keep going, in your little van with questionable AC and suitcases strapped to the roof. To a wedding celebration that's been twice postponed. This is the summer of '22.
